new and more innovative ways to revamp a shoe - this is great because it takes functionality into consideration.

Louis Vuitton flagship store at Marina Bay Sands in Singapore.
if fashion and architecture weren’t in any sense related, why is there the need to produce fancy flagship stores? you’d think that the clothes were the main focus and would be fine even on a rack by the side of the road, but i believe that the architecture complements the fashion and vice versa - it creates an ambience for the consumer experience.

Walt Disney Concert Hall | Los Angeles, CA | Frank Gehry

An internationally recognized architectural landmark, Walt Disney Concert Hall is not only one of the most acoustically sophisticated concert halls in the world, but is also an iconic example of deconstructivist architecture, a type of postmodern architecture with roots in the late 1980s.

despite receiving some criticism, i feel that the concert hall is a beautiful piece. i think it achieved a lot for its time, having perfectly constructed curves and used materials that stood out from everything else around it. it’s not typical for architecture to contrast starkly against its site and surroundings but i strongly believe it’s made for an iconic building.

Lady Gaga’s Emporio Armani Shoe is for Auction
Lady Gaga’s lost Emporio Armani Shoe is placed on auction at Paris’ Drouot Richelieu auction house. This shoe, which fits the right foot of Gaga, was last worn by the quirky pop superstar at one of her concert during her 2010 Monster Ball Tour in Bercy Stadium in Paris. Out of appreciation for a highly enthusiastic crowd, she decided to throw the shoe at the audience. The shoe, which is estimated at more than $6,000, goes for auction on February 11.

I can’t explain how much I love this dress. I love the ruffles, the sheer bandages over the body. I love the combination of the two fabrics that flow seamlessly.
